During their meetings, many members suggested that if they can get some financial aid as loan for the job-oriented education of their children they could eventually become bread winners for the family. KSSS presented this proposal to Agape Movement.

Agape Movement publicized this proposal of KSSS. Mr. Cyriac P. Alexander came up to help 10 students through Agape Movement.

The self help groups invited applications from groups. Selection of candidates were done by Village Development Groups based on the need of the family. His Excellency Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry distributed the fund on December 21, 2002 at CBR Samgamam held at Kallara.

RESULTS:

The financial support as loan for the education of students for job-oriented training would help many students to become self-sufficient. It also would encourage them to return the money to the groups so that they can support other students in the future.
